Classic Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 cans fire roasted diced tomatoes,(14 oz each)
- 3 cups chopped yellow onions
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon each of ground coriander and ground cumin
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
- ¾ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcester sauce
- 4 teaspoons salt
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pot.
- Add onions and garlic and sauté until beginning to brown and softened.
- Stir 1 teaspoon salt, chili powder, cumin, and coriander.
- Stir in molasses and sugar.
- Mix well and boil for about 3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and apple cider vinegar.
- Bring it to a boil and simmer on medium-low for 2-3 hours.
- Add white vinegar and Worcester sauce.
- Season it with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place in a blender.
- Add 2 cups water and puree until smooth.
