Hearty Chili Con Carne

Ingredients
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 can 12 oz beans, drained (pinto or kidney)
- 8 ounces cooked pork diced
- 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 green bell pepper seeded and diced
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the beef bouillon cube with the reserved liquid from the canned beans and enough water to make 1 cup of broth.
- In a large saucepan, combine the broth mixture and all remaining ingredients.
- Simmer the mixture, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes or until it reaches the desired consistency.
