Classic Baked Bacon & Brown Sugar Beans
Ingredients
- 2 16 to 18 oz. cans of pork ‘n beans (do not drain)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 6 slices of bacon cooked crisp and crumbled
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, dry mustard, ketchup, and crumbled bacon.
- Spray a casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray and pour one can of beans into the dish.
- Spread half of the brown sugar mixture over the beans.
- Add the second can of beans on top of the first layer, and then spread the remaining brown sugar mixture over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours, until the beans are hot and bubbly.
- Serve the baked beans hot as a delicious side dish to your favorite meal.
