Place coffee in filter basket of coffeemaker; add 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon and ground nutmeg.
Add 5 cups water to coffeemaker; brew coffee according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Combine milk, chocolate syrup, and sugar in a large saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.
Stir in brewed coffee and vanilla extract.
Pour immediately into mugs, and top each serving with a dollop of whipped cream and ground cinnamon.
