Ingredients
- 4 cups cherry tomatoes halved
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar

- 12 oz. bow tie pasta cooked according to package instructions
- Grated Parmesan cheese optional, for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and chopped fresh basil.
- Toss gently to coat the tomatoes evenly with the dressing.
- Allow the tomato mixture to marinate for at least 10 minutes to develop flavors.
- While the tomatoes are marinating, cook the bow tie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain well.
- Once the pasta is cooked and drained, transfer it to a serving platter or individual plates.
- Spoon the marinated cherry tomato mixture over the cooked pasta, distributing it evenly.
- Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
- If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the pasta.
