Chocolate Chip Muffins
Ingredients
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup cooking oil
- ¾ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and then add it to the flour mixture along with the milk and cooking oil.
- Stir just until blended.
- Don’t overmix.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Fill greased muffins cups about ⅔ full.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
- Remove the muffins from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
