Ingredients

  • 230 grams lean beef mince
  • 230 grams pork mince
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 ½ tablespoons no-sugar-added tomato paste
  • ¼ cup ricotta cheese
  • cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic peeled and minced
  • ¼ cup peeled and grated brown onion
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cups no-sugar-added napolitana sauce

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients except for napolitana sauce in a large bowl.
  • Form mixture into four meatballs.
  • Preheat air fryer at 200°C for 3 minutes.
  • Cut a piece of baking paper to fit bottom of air fryer basket.
  • Place meatballs on paper.
  • Cook for 20 minutes.
  • In a medium frying pan, heat sauce over medium heat for 3 minutes.
  • Add cooked meatballs and roll them around in sauce for 2 minutes.
  • Transfer meatballs to a large plate and serve warm with sauce over the top.
