- ⅓ cup warm water 110°F
- ¼ cup sugar divided
- 1⅛ teaspoon yeast ½ packet
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons buttermilk
- 1¾ cups flour
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
