Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 shallot chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tablespoon coriander chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh mint minced
- Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 cup mozzarella sliced
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, ground beef, chopped shallot, minced garlic, coriander, mint, salt, black pepper, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, and cumin.
- Mix well until evenly incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them in a lightly greased air fryer basket.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Cook the meatballs for 10 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
- Once cooked, top each meatball with a slice of mozzarella.
- Return to the air fryer and bake at 380°F for an additional 3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve the minty meatballs on a serving platter.
