  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 shallot chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon coriander chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh mint minced
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 cup mozzarella sliced

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, ground beef, chopped shallot, minced garlic, coriander, mint, salt, black pepper, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, and cumin.
  • Mix well until evenly incorporated.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them in a lightly greased air fryer basket.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  • Cook the meatballs for 10 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
  • Once cooked, top each meatball with a slice of mozzarella.
  • Return to the air fryer and bake at 380°F for an additional 3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve the minty meatballs on a serving platter.
