Oven Porcupine Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup uncooked regular rice
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 can 15 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1/3 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon celery salt

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350º.
  • Mix meat, rice, ½ cup water, onion, salts, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Shape mixture into meatballs.
  • Place meatballs in ungreased, 8 x 8 x 2 baking dish.
  • Stir together remaining ingredients.
  • Pour over meatballs.
  • Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake 45
  • minutes; uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
