Ingredients

  • 2 cans kidney beans 29 oz. each, undrained
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 1 package Chili seasoning mix
  • 1 can 29 oz. stewed tomatoes

Instructions

  • In a large pot or Dutch oven, sauté diced onion and bell pepper over medium heat for about 5 minutes until softened.
  • Add ground beef to the pot and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
  • Stir in the Chili seasoning mix and cook for another minute.
  • Add the undrained kidney beans and stewed tomatoes to the pot.
  • Stir well to combine.
  • Bring the chili to a simmer and let it cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
