Ingredients
Makes about 2 cups
- 3 large ripe tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 ⁄2 medium white onion finely chopped
- 2 to 3 serrano chiles minced with seeds
- 3 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice or to taste
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon salt or to taste
Instructions
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a medium bowl.
- Let stand about 15 minutes to blend the flavors.
- For the best taste and texture, serve within 3 hours of preparing.
