Ingredients

For the Pizza Base:

  • 1 gluten-free pizza crust or traditional if preferred
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Toppings:

  • 150 g tomato sauce
  • 200 g shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks drained
  • 100 g mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and place it on a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
  • Brush the pizza crust with olive oil and spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the base.
  • Arrange the shrimp, pineapple chunks, and red onion slices evenly over the pizza.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the toppings.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh cilantro and chili flakes (if using).
  • Slice and serve!
