  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon shallot powder
  • 1 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • Coarse sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 eggs lightly whisked
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  • Marinate the sirloin steak in a large ceramic bowl with soy sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, shallot powder, celery seeds, mustard seeds, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Refrigerate for 3 hours.
  • Pound the marinated steak with a mallet to tenderize and cut it into 1-inch strips.
  • Prepare two bowls: whisk the eggs in one, and mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and paprika in the other.
  • Dip each beef strip into the eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 400°F.
  • Cook the steak fingers for 14 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Meanwhile, heat the reserved marinade in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Simmer until warmed through to create the lime dipping sauce.
  • Serve the steak fingers hot with the lime sauce on the side.
