  • 1 1/2 pounds cube steak
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper or more to taste
  • 4 ounces butter
  • 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 2 scallions finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh horseradish grated
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Pat the cube steak dry and season with salt and black pepper.
  • Spritz the Air Fryer basket with cooking oil and place the steak in the basket.
  • Cook in the preheated Air Fryer at 400°F for 14 minutes.
  • While the steak cooks, melt the butter in a skillet over moderate heat.
  • Add garlic, scallions, parsley, horseradish, and cayenne pepper.
  • Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Top the warm cube steaks with the cowboy sauce and serve immediately.
