Turnip Fries with Bagel Seasoning
Have you ever wondered what to do with that weird little purplish-white orb in the produce section? Throw that turnip in your basket and give it a try with this tasty recipe. This root vegetable is loaded with fibre and nutrients and low in carbs!

Ingredients
- 2 medium turnips peeled and cut into 6mm fries
- 2 teaspoons avocado oil
- 2 teaspoons bagel seasoning see recipe below
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 200°C for 3 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, toss fries with avocado oil and 1 teaspoon seasoning.
- Place fries in air fryer basket lightly greased with olive oil and cook for 5 minutes.
- Shake basket and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Shake, then cook for another 5 minutes.
- Transfer to a medium serving plate, garnish with remaining seasoning, and serve warm.
