Peanut Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon soda
  • 1 cup corn flakes crushed
  • 1 cup peanuts coarsely chopped
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 cup Shortening

Instructions

  • Cream shortening and sugar together.
  • Add eggs and beat more.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Mix in remaining ingredients in order given.
  • Mold with hands and press down with fork.
