Notes & Wine Advice
Recipe Notes
Dry the kale thoroughly after washing it. Excess moisture can steam the leaves instead of making them crisp. Massage the tahini mixture into the kale with your fingers. This coats the leaves more evenly and helps the sesame seeds and seasoning stick. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cooking the kale in batches allows the hot air to circulate and produces crispier chips. Check the kale regularly near the end of cooking because thin leaves can brown quickly. Afterward, let the chips cool completely before storing them in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.Wine Advice

About This Recipe
Tahini Kale Chips turn fresh kale into a crisp and savory snack with a rich sesame flavor. Tahini coats the leaves, while coriander and sesame seeds add warmth and nuttiness. Meanwhile, red pepper flakes provide a gentle kick. The air fryer creates the crunch without requiring deep frying, making this an easy snack to prepare at home.
Kale with Tahini and Sesame
Tahini gives these kale chips their distinctive creamy and nutty coating. In addition, sesame seeds add extra texture once the leaves become crisp. Ground coriander brings a warm, aromatic note that works especially well with the sesame flavors. Together, these ingredients transform simple Vegetables into a flavorful homemade snack.
Crispy Air Fryer Kale Chips
Making air fryer kale chips is quick, but removing moisture from the leaves makes a big difference. First, wash and thoroughly dry the kale. Next, massage the tahini mixture into every piece. Then, cook the leaves in batches in the Air fryer. This allows the hot air to circulate around the kale and helps create an even crunch.
A Crunchy Plant-Based Snack
These Tahini Kale Chips contain no meat, eggs, or dairy. Therefore, they fit both Vegan and Vegetarian menus. They also make a lighter alternative to many traditional Snacks. For extra heat, simply increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
Perfect for Snacking and Sharing
Serve the chips as Fingerfood or put a bowl on the table for Movie night. Moreover, their crisp texture makes them useful for Game Day, a Picnic, or a relaxed Weekend snack.
Finally, let the air fryer kale chips cool completely before storing them. Cooling helps them reach their best crunchy texture. Keep them in an airtight container so you can enjoy this sesame-coated snack whenever you want something savory and crisp.
