Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 15- oz. can crushed tomatoes
  • 8- oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup medium shell pasta cooked

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, brown the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic; drain.
  • Stir in crushed tomatoes with juice, tomato sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the beef mixture and stir to combine.
  • Serve the Classic Beef and Shells.
