  • 1 heaped tablespoon Horlicks
  • 1 heaped teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 120 g dried cranberries
  • 125 g wholemeal flour
  • 145 g soft brown sugar
  • 150 g rolled oats
  • 170 g white chocolate chunks
  • A pinch of flaky sea salt

To Complete the Recipe

  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 150 g soft butter

Instructions

  • Layer the flour and baking powder in the bottom of the jar.
  • Add the dried cranberries.
  • Mix the oats with the cinnamon and add them to the jar.
  • Add the brown sugar and flaky sea salt.
  • Finish with the white chocolate chunks and Horlicks.
  • Seal the jar and decorate with ribbon or twine if giving as a gift.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan/Gas 4).
  • Grease two baking sheets.
  • Beat the butter, egg, and vanilla until creamy.
  • Stir in the contents of the jar until a dough forms.

  • Bake for about 11 minutes until lightly golden.
