Ingredients

For the Pizza Base:

  • 1 gluten-free pizza crust or traditional if preferred
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Toppings:

  • 100 g basil pesto store-bought or homemade
  • 200 g fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil leaves chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and place it on a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
  • Brush the pizza crust with olive oil and spread a generous layer of pesto over the base.
  • Top with fresh mozzarella slices and sprinkle with pine nuts.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese has melted.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  • Slice and serve!
