Ingredients

  • 1 cup beer
  • 1/2 cup tamari sauce
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ancho chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3/4 pound flank steak sliced into strips

Instructions

  • In a ceramic dish, combine beer, tamari sauce, liquid smoke, garlic, salt, black pepper, ancho chili powder, and honey.
  • Place the sliced flank steak in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight for deeper flavor.
  • Discard the marinade and hang the marinated beef strips in the Air Fryer basket using skewers.
  • Air Fry at 190°F for 1 hour, or until the jerky reaches the desired texture.
  • Store the beef jerky in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
