Ingredients

  • Sardines fresh, 1 kg

  • Lemon 1, cut into wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, minced garlic, and pine nuts.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and mix well.
  • Rinse and pat dry the sardines.
  • Arrange sardines on the baking sheet.
  • Drizzle remaining olive oil over the sardines.
  • Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the sardines.
  • Season with salt.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until sardines are cooked and breadcrumbs are golden.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
  • Serve immediately.
