  • 5 cups chicken cubed
  • ½ cup onion finely chopped
  • ½ cup celery finely chopped
  • ½ cup green bell pepper finely chopped
  • ½ cup pimento chopped
  • 6 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 8 oz frozen peas
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can 12 oz evaporated skim milk

Instructions

  • Season the cubed chicken with salt, black pepper, and garlic salt.
  • Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Add the chopped onion, celery, green bell pepper, pimento, mushrooms, and frozen peas.
  • Pour in the cream of mushroom soup and evaporated skim milk.
  • Stir well to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve hot over cooked rice, toast, or biscuits.
