  • 1 ½ pounds chicken cubed
  • 1 ½ cans 10.5 oz each cream of chicken soup
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 celery stalks chopped
  • ½ green bell pepper chopped
  • 6 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 4 carrots sliced
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 1 package frozen peas
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  • In the slow cooker, combine the green bell pepper, carrots, celery, cream of chicken soup, and flour.
  • Stir well.
  • Add the cubed chicken, mushrooms, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and chopped onion.
  • Mix to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours.
  • Add the frozen peas and cook for an additional 45 minutes.
  • Serve hot over cooked rice.
