Spicy Cajun Grilled Fish Fillets
Ingredients
Cajun Spice Rub:
- 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon crushed dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon crushed dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon crushed dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
Fish:
- 6 fillets of snapper or other firm fish
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
Prepare Cajun Spice Rub:
- Mix together paprika, oregano, thyme, parsley, cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in an airtight container.
- Store for future use.
Prepare and Grill Fish:
- Rinse fish fillets and pat them dry.
- Brush fillets lightly with oil and sprinkle with the Cajun seasoning mixture.
- Place the fillets in a barbecue basket.
- Preheat the grill.
- Grill the fish for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the fillets.
Serve:
