Drizzle the olive oil over the filled loaf.
Wrap the bottom and sides of the bread loosely with aluminum foil.
Leave the top exposed.

Air fry for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is melted and the exposed bread is crisp.
Carefully transfer the bread to a serving platter.
Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top.
Serve immediately while warm.
Notes & Wine Advice
Serving Suggestions
Serve the bread as a shared appetizer or alongside soup, pasta, grilled chicken, or a dish from our salad recipes. It also works well as part of a relaxed brunch or party platter.
Recipe Notes
Check that the loaf fits comfortably inside the air fryer before cutting and filling it. Do not slice completely through the bottom crust. Browse our air fryer recipes for more quick snacks and appetizers.
Variations
Add pesto, sliced olives, roasted peppers, garlic, or chili flakes. Replace some mozzarella with Parmesan or another option from our cheese recipes.
Wine Advice
A crisp Pinot Grigio complements the tomatoes and fresh basil while balancing the melted cheese. A lively Sauvignon Blanc provides a brighter alternative.
