Balsamic Dressing

Steak can stand up to a strong-tasting dressing. This vinaigrette uses balsamic vinegar, a barrel-aged Italian vinegar, for its full flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon 5-spice powder
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Place the vinegar, 5-spice powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Whisk to blend.
  • Pour over your favorite salad.
