chicken soup base

bottle dry white wine
Instructions
Preheat the gas grill to low heat.
Spread butter over the turkey inside and outside.
Rub the chicken soup base over the turkey.
Cut the remaining butter into cubes.
Combine onions, apples, garlic, and butter cubes in a large bowl.
Stuff the turkey with the mixture.
Transfer the turkey to an aluminum roasting pan.
Fold the skin around the neck opening.
Turn the turkey breast-side up.
Pour the white wine into the roasting pan.
Cover the turkey loosely with aluminum foil.
Place the roasting pan onto the grill.
Close the grill lid and roast for 4 hours.
Remove the foil during the final minutes of cooking.
Allow the turkey to rest for 20 minutes before carving.
