Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a saucepot over medium-high heat.
Cook the onion and garlic for about 4 minutes until softened.
Add Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, honey Dijon mustard, molasses, brown sugar, and hot sauce.
Season with salt and black pepper.
Bring the sauce to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Remove the sauce from the heat.
Stir in the beer.
Blend the sauce carefully until smooth.
Allow the sauce to cool slightly before serving or storing.
