Beer-Cheese Soup

Ingredients
Makes 4 to 6 cups / Preparation: 15 min, Cooking: 16 min

12-ounce bottle of beer, divided
▢

5-ounce jars of processed cheese spread
▢

10 1/2-ounce can of condensed chicken broth
▢
1/2
teaspoon
of Worcestershire sauce
▢

dashes of hot sauce
▢

tablespoons
of cornstarch
Instructions
Combine 2 1/2 cups of milk and 3/4 cup of beer in a Dutch oven.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Add cheese spread and the next 3 ingredients.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for 2 to 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Combine cornstarch and the remaining beer; add to the cheese mixture.
Simmer, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes or until thickened (do not boil).
