Ingredients
Makes 8 (4-inch) waffles

butter
melted

teaspoon
vanilla extract

all-purpose flour
▢

teaspoon
salt
▢
1
cup
milk
▢
Sweetened whipped cream
▢
Sliced fresh strawberries
Instructions
Beat egg yolks at medium speed with an electric mixer until thick and pale.
Add butter and vanilla, beating until blended.
Set aside.
Combine flour and salt.
Add flour mixture and milk to egg mixture, beating until smooth.
Set aside.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, and fold into batter.
Bake in a preheated, oiled waffle iron until golden.
Serve with sweetened whipped cream and strawberries.
