Instructions
Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add the onion and celery.
Cook until softened for about 5 minutes.
Stir in the vegetable broth, ketchup, molasses, red wine vinegar, dry mustard, cayenne pepper, and salt.
Bring the sauce to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Preheat the barbecue grill to medium heat.
Grill the pork chops for 8 to 10 minutes per side.
Brush the pork chops frequently with the sauce while grilling.
Cook until the pork is fully cooked and no longer pink inside.
Serve hot.
