Instructions
Heat the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced onion and season with salt and black pepper.
Cook for 7 to 8 minutes until softened and lightly browned.
Add the garlic, bell pepper, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce.
Cook for another 7 minutes until the peppers soften.
Add the flour and stir constantly for 1 minute.
Slowly pour in the stock while stirring continuously.
Bring to a simmer and cook until slightly thickened.
Toast the sandwich rolls until lightly crisp.
Spread barbecue sauce onto both sides of the rolls.
Add the brisket slices to the skillet and stir until heated through.
Fill each sandwich roll with brisket, peppers, and onions.
Serve immediately.
