Instructions
Cut the pork tenderloins into strips with the grain.
Place the pork into a large resealable bag.
Combine soy sauce, honey, ketchup, brown sugar, Chinese rice wine, hoisin sauce, red food coloring, and Chinese five-spice powder in a saucepan.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes while stirring occasionally.
Pour the marinade over the pork.
Seal the bag and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Preheat the barbecue grill over medium-high heat.
Lightly oil the grill grates.
Remove the pork from the marinade.
Place the pork onto the grill.
Cook for 20 minutes while turning occasionally.
Place a container of water onto the grill.
Continue cooking for about 1 hour until the pork is cooked through and caramelized.
Serve hot.
