Chocolate Chip Oatmeal-Almond Cookie Dough
This easy to make recipe is the real deal, a true vegan and gluten-free breakfast cookie that is indeed a gooey and delicious breakfast partnered with milk.

Ingredients

of almond butter
or any nut butter of your choice
▢
1/4
cup
rolled oats
▢

tbsp.
almond meal
▢
2
tsp.
of honey
▢
1/4
cup
of unsweetened applesauce
▢
1/4
tsp.
of baking powder
▢
1
tbsp.
chocolate chips*
▢
1/2
tsp.
of vanilla extract
▢
A pinch of salt
Instructions
Prepare the oven by heating to 350° F
Grease an oven-safe dish or ramekin.
Set aside.
Except for the chocolate chips, combine the applesauce, almond butter, baking powder, vanilla, honey, and salt.
Add in the oats and the almond meal.
Stir until you have a sticky dough.
Mix in the chocolate chips.
Transfer the cookie dough in your oven safe dish or ramekin.
Top with additional chocolate chips and sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
Bake for about 18 to 20 minutes, until baked to your preferred consistency.
Notes & Wine Advice
You can replace the chocolate chips with nuts or raisins for a healthier cookie.
