Notes & Wine Advice
Recipe Notes
Allow the cereal to cool completely before covering the container. It becomes crunchier as it cools. If pecan flour is difficult to find, make your own by pulsing pecans briefly in a food processor until finely ground. Stop before the nuts begin releasing enough oil to turn into pecan butter.Serve with unsweetened almond milk for a grain-free breakfast or sprinkle over Greek yogurt with fresh berries.Store the completely cooled cereal in an airtight container at room temperature to help maintain its crunchy texture.
Wine Advice
Wine isn't the most natural match for a breakfast cereal, but when served as part of a brunch, a lightly fruity Chardonnay can complement the toasted pecans, coconut, and warm cinnamon flavors.
