Ham Soup
Ham Soup is hearty. It was particularly well suited to wintertime eating when meat hung heavily in the attic and the vegetable supply was dwindling.

Ingredients

ham

large
onion
minced
▢

cups
potatoes
peeled and cubed
▢
large
handful of noodles
▢
3
quarts
milk
Instructions
Cook ham in water until soft.
Cut up and set aside.
Cook potatoes and onions in ham broth until tender.
Meanwhile, cook noodles and drain.
Add ham and noodles to potatoes.
Add milk and bring to the boiling point.
Serve with crackers.
