Ingredients

quartered

Salt and pepper to taste

package onion soup mix

cube beef bouillon

boiling water

fat-free sour cream
Optional:

sliced mushrooms

Cooked egg noodles or mashed potatoe
Instructions
Season the cube steak with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steak and brown on both sides.
In a bowl, combine onion soup mix, beef bouillon cube, and boiling water.
Stir until the bouillon is dissolved.
Pour the soup mixture over the steak, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the steak is no longer pink in the center.
Add sour cream and mushrooms (if using).
Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.

Serve the Stroganoff-Style Steak over cooked egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
