Indulgent Holiday Mashed Potatoes

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Place the red potatoes in a large pot with enough water to cover.
Bring to a boil and cook until fork-tender, approximately 20 minutes.
Drain the potatoes, add unsalted butter, and mash using a potato masher, ricer, or mixer.
Gradually beat in the heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Serve piping hot!
