turnips

garlic

ginger

wide egg noodles
▢

tbsp
chopped fresh dill
▢

tbsp
chopped fresh parsley

Salt & pepper

Instructions
Put chicken in crock pot
Cover with cold water
Chop add to crock pot:
1 onion w/ skin
1 parsnip
1 turnip
2 carrots
Add to crock pot:
Garlic
Ginger
Salt & pepper
Cook on high for 30 mins
Cook on low for 6-8 hours
If you have time, skim any scum that rises to top
The longer it cooks, the better it tastes
Remove vegetables and throw away
Debone chicken
Strain stock and taste
Add salt as you see fit
Chop and add to stock
1 onion w/out skin
1 Parsnip
1 Turnip
2 Carrot
Replace chicken after deboning
Add egg noodles 10 minutes before serving
Before serving add dill and parsley
