Recipe Notes
Remove all the jalapeño seeds for milder poppers. However, if you prefer extra heat, finely chop some of the seeds and mix them into the filling.Drain the cooked pork well before combining it with the cheeses. This keeps the filling creamy without making it greasy.Kalamata olives add saltiness, while feta and mint give the filling its Mediterranean character. Therefore, taste the mixture before adding any extra salt. You can prepare the filled jalapeños ahead of time and keep them covered in the refrigerator. Then air fry them just before serving.
Wine Advice
A fresh Sauvignon Blanc works well with the salty feta, olives, mint, and spicy jalapeños. Its crisp acidity also provides a refreshing contrast to the rich pork and cream cheese.
