Mozzarella Sticklets
This is a mini versionof those deep-fried delights found on many appetiser menus — minus the oil.Serve these mini sticks with toothpicks and a warm napolitana sauce.

mozzarella cheese block
cut into sticks

olive oil
Instructions
In a small bowl, add flour.
In another small bowl, whisk together egg and milk.
Combine bread crumbs, salt and Italian seasoning in a shallow dish.
Roll a mozzarella sticklet in flour, then dip in egg mixture and then roll in bread crumb mixture.
Shake off excess between each step.
Set aside on a plate and repeat with remaining mozzarella.
Place in freezer for 10 minutes.
Preheat air fryer at 200°C for 3 minutes.
Place half of mozzarella sticklets in fryer basket.
Cook for 2 minutes.
Shake.
Lightly brush with olive oil.
Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Shake.
Cook for an additional 1 minute.
Transfer to a serving dish.
Repeat with remaining sticklets and serve warm.
