Mustard Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • ½ onion grated
  • ½ cup yellow mustard
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Sauté onions in butter for about 4 minutes.
  • Add the remaining ingredients.
  • Stir well and simmer for 30 minutes.
