Roasted Jalapeno Guacamole
Add some smokiness to spicy guacamole by pre-roasting your jalapenos. You can also add a drop or two of liquid smoke to kick up the flavor.

Ingredients
Serves: 4

1 to 2
jalapeno pepper or to taste
cored and finely chopped ½ tsp olive oil

ripe avocados
pitted and peeled

medium
white onion
finely diced
▢

garlic cloves
pressed
▢

Roma tomato
finely diced
▢

tbsp
fresh lime juice
▢

cup
chopped fresh cilantro

ground cumin
▢
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Rub jalapeno peppers with olive oil and roast in a broiler for 2 to 3 minutes or until slightly charred.
Finely chop after.
Mash avocados in a bowl using a potato masher or fork to your desired consistency.
Add remaining ingredients including jalapenos and fold in well.
Serve guacamole.
