Notes & Wine Advice
Notes
Searing the pork before baking helps create deeper savory barbecue flavor throughout the meat.
Serve Tip
Serve this pulled pork on buns, baked potatoes, tacos, rice bowls, or alongside coleslaw and fries.
Variations
Add smoked paprika, honey, chipotle powder, hot sauce, or bourbon for deeper smoky richness and spice.
Wine Advice
A fruity
Zinfandel
pairs beautifully with the smoky barbecue sauce and tender pork.
