Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 2 bell peppers sliced
- 1 green bell pepper sliced
- 1 serrano pepper sliced
- 1 shallot sliced
- Sea salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 2 pounds thin beef parboiled sausage
Instructions
- Brush the Air Fryer cooking basket with 1 teaspoon of canola oil.
- Add the sliced bell peppers, serrano pepper, and shallot to the basket.
- Toss the vegetables with sea salt, black pepper, thyme, rosemary, mustard seeds, and fennel seeds.
- Cook at 390°F (199°C) for 15 minutes, shaking the basket occasionally.
- Reserve the pepper mixture.
- Reduce the Air Fryer temperature to 380°F (193°C).
- Add the remaining teaspoon of oil to the basket, then place the sausages in it.
- Cook for 15 minutes, flipping the sausages halfway through the cooking time.
- Serve the sausages with the reserved peperonata.
