Classic Chili Con Carne

Ingredients
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 can 10.75 oz tomato soup
- 2 cans 15 oz each kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can 14.5 oz whole tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the sliced onion.
- Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Stir in tomato soup and whole tomatoes.
- Add drained kidney beans and chili powder.
- Cook slowly for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
