  • 1 rosemary sprig chopped
  • 1 thyme sprig chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage crushed
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 pounds pork leg roast scored
  • 1 pound candy onions peeled
  • 2 chili peppers minced
  • 4 cloves garlic finely chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Mix the rosemary, thyme, sage, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and sesame oil to form a seasoning mixture.
  • Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the scored pork leg.
  • Place the pork leg in the air fryer basket and cook for 40 minutes.
  • Add the candy onions, minced chili peppers, and chopped garlic to the air fryer.
  • Cook for an additional 12 minutes until the onions are tender and slightly caramelized.
  • Slice the pork leg roast and arrange on a serving platter.
  • Spoon the pan juices over the meat and serve with the candy onions.
