Notes & Wine Advice
Recipe Notes
Cassava flour is naturally gluten-free and helps provide structure to the pizza bread. If necessary, tapioca flour can be used as an alternative, although the final texture may be slightly different. If gluten is not a concern, plain flour can also replace the cassava flour. Allow the pizza bread to rest for 5 minutes after cooking. This helps it firm up and makes it easier to cut into neat strips. Serve with warm no-added-sugar napolitana sauce for dipping. The bread is best served while the mozzarella and Parmesan are still warm.Wine Advice
A fruity Sangiovese pairs well with the pepperoni, mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian herbs, and tomato-based dipping sauce. Its acidity works particularly well with the richness of the cheese and pepperoni.Nutrition values

About This Recipe
Pepperoni Pizza Bread combines the flavors of pizza with an easy savory bread made in the air fryer. Pepperoni, mozzarella, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning give every slice plenty of familiar pizza flavor, while coconut flour and cassava flour provide the base. Cut it into strips and serve it warm with Napolitana sauce for a simple snack or appetizer.
An Easy Air Fryer Pizza Bread
This air fryer pizza bread is somewhere between a soft bread and a cheesy pizza. Instead of preparing a traditional yeast dough, the ingredients are simply mixed into a batter and cooked in a pizza pan. That makes it convenient when you want homemade pizza flavor without kneading or waiting for dough to rise. Browse our Air fryer Recipes for more quick ideas.
Pepperoni, Mozzarella and Parmesan
Chopped pepperoni gives the bread its savory and lightly spicy character. Mozzarella melts throughout the batter, while Parmesan is added during the final minute for an extra cheesy finish. Italian seasoning ties these flavors together. This combination makes the bread particularly suitable as Fingerfood for parties, movie nights, or Game Day.
A Gluten-Free Pizza Bread Option
Coconut flour and cassava flour make the original recipe suitable as a gluten-free pizza bread, provided all packaged ingredients, including the pepperoni and Napolitana sauce, are certified gluten-free. Cassava flour provides structure without wheat flour. It also helps keep the recipe suitable for a Low Carb diet when the remaining ingredients meet your dietary requirements.
Serving Air Fryer Pizza Bread
Allow the air fryer pizza bread to rest for about five minutes before slicing it into strips. This gives the centre time to firm up and makes the pieces easier to handle. Serve them with warm Napolitana dipping sauce. You can also add the strips to a larger Party Food platter with vegetables, cheese, and other small bites.
With melted cheese, pepperoni, herbs, and warm tomato sauce, Pepperoni Pizza Bread delivers plenty of classic pizza flavor in an easy air fryer recipe. It works especially well for a quick dinner, weekend snack, or informal gathering when you want something warm, cheesy, and easy to share.
